This link is always up-to-date with the latest version on general release. This is currently Flexcom 2025.1.2 (March 2025). We recommend that all Flexcom users use the latest version.
Our policy is to provide complete transparency to our Flexcom user community regarding any known software errors or limitations. Refer to Known Software Faults for further information. All of these issues will be rectified in the next maintenance release of the software. In the interim however, workarounds are suggested where feasible.
If you have a commercial interest, you can obtain a fully functional version of Flexcom for a free trial period without any obligation to purchase. Software usage during this period is subject to the terms and conditions of an evaluation license agreement. Contact Wood should this be of interest.
Some Flexcom models, including all the input files, and sample results in plot and Excel format, are publicly available to assist Flexcom users who do not yet have access to a valid licence agreement.

Flexcom also requires a number of other components to be installed. These are all contained in the main Flexcom installation pack but occasionally some users have difficulty in getting Flexcom to run successfully after installation. You should contact our technical support support team if you require assistance, who will provide guidance regarding any additional steps which you will need to undertake manually, in which case some of the following items may be useful.

•Database Viewer Standalone program which offers the same functionality as Flexcom's integrated Model View
•Project Importer Dedicated conversion tool which allow you to migrate your input files from Flexcom 7 to Flexcom 8 format
•RBC Helpful tool for creating rotational boundary conditions in DOFs 4, 5 & 6 (as they do not in the most general case represent individual rotations about the global X, Y & Z axes). Refer to Application of Rotational Constraints for further information.
•HASP_Info Returns information about your NetHASP hardware dongle, such as dongle ID number and licensed software modules.
•HASP_Info_alt Alternative version of HASP_Info, which is compatible with old parallel port type dongles.
•RUS_Customer Allows you to reprogram your NetHASP hardware dongle under the guidance of Wood personnel (e.g. to add or remove licenses).
•Network License Manager Allows you to install the network license manager software on the server machine which hosts the NetHASP hardware dongle. This is not relevant for web hosted licensing.
•Aladdin Monitor Allows you to install the NetHASP Monitor software and check current licence usage. This is not relevant for web hosted licensing.
The vast majority of Flexcom installations complete successfully. Occasionally some users have difficulty in getting Flexcom to run successfully after it has been installed.
