Purpose

To specify a general usage factor and an incidental to design pressure ratio to be used in code checking.

Refer to Code Checking for further information on this feature.

Keyword Format

A block of lines to specify the relevant factors.

[USAGE=Usage Factor]

[INCIDENTAL=Incidental to design pressure ratio]

Usage Factor defaults to 0.75.

Incidental to design pressure ratio defaults to 1.1.

Usage Factor:

The Working Stress Design usage (WSD) as per the relevant DNV standard. This value defaults to 0.75 if not specified.

Incidental to Design Pressure Ratio:

This is the incidental to design pressure ration as per the relevant DNV standard. This value defaults to 1.1 if not specified.
