*Time
To specify the time interval over which the summary output statistics are to be calculated.
Refer to Summary Postprocessing for further information on this feature.
Two lines specifying the start and end times:
[START=Start Time]
[END=End Time]
Start Time defaults to the analysis start time. End Time defaults to the analysis end time.
Set Start Time to -1 if you would like to consider only the final timestep stored in the program database.
Input: |
Description |
Start Time: |
The start time for the calculation of statistics. This entry is optional, and defaults to the analysis start time if omitted. |
End Time: |
The end time for the calculation of statistics. This entry is optional, and defaults to the analysis end time if omitted. |
(a)It would be usual to specify a start time explicitly, to exclude initial transients from statistics calculations.
(b)Set Start Time to -1 if you would like to consider only the final timestep stored in the program database. This is a useful little trick as the same value may be used across a range of simulations regardless of the actual end times. For static and quasi-static analyses, only the results at the last solution step are generally of interest.
