Outer Diameter

In the case of geometric properties in the Rigid Riser format, the outer diameter Do is a required input. Dd and Db both default to the value you specify for Do unless you input values directly. Do is also used (with Di) for computing the cross-section area, moment of inertia and polar moment of inertia if these are not specified directly. Finally, it is used as the external diameter for stress calculations unless you specify otherwise.
